Current Projects

Repairs include replacement of deteriorated areas of alley pavement with concrete, pervious concrete or brick pavers. Full alley reconstruction includes removal of existing pavement and constructing pervious concrete pavement. Once construction begins, there will be no access to the driveways for approximately 3-4 weeks.

New sidewalk will be constructed in areas where none exists. Scope may include regrading of surrounding areas and adjacent ditches. Repairs of existing broken sidewalk may also be completed.

Replace and widen pavement and base; replace curb and gutter, driveway aprons and various sidewalk; regrade parkways. For streets without existing curb and gutter, new curb and gutter will be constructed.

Street reconstruction work typically includes utility work. Construction takes place in phases and the duration can be several months.

Install new storm sewer (part of the City’s Stormwater Master Plan).

Install new water mains and fire hydrants; connect individual water services to the new main. Water service will be interrupted at various times and locations.
