Planning and Zoning

Zoning refers to the areas where different types of buildings are allowed such as houses, apartments, small businesses, large businesses, factories, schools, etc. Zoning plans preserve the integrity of specific areas in a community, especially those conducive to residential homes, schools, and retail. Preserving property values by assigning appropriate land uses in advance encourages appropriate neighborhood uses residential, commercial and retail. Due to building construction, this division has been temporarily relocated to the second floor of City Hall.
