Come join the fun on Sunday August 16, 2026 at 1841 S. River Road. Doors open at Noon to start the festivities. Adults: $20 Kids 6-12: $12. Limited Seating. First come, first served. Guests will enjoy Roasted Sweet Corn, and Whole Roasted Pig with all the trimmings will be served. Please note that the food (with the exeption of the roasted corn) will be served later in the afternoon. Come enjoy the Games, Raffles and Beautiful grounds of the Izaak Walton League of Des Plaines. Visitors are invited to explore the trails along the Des Plaines River, the Historic Jefferson House, or relax and picnic under the tents. This year’s event also celebrates 100 years of conservation efforts by the Des Plaines Chapter, founded in 1926 in Chicago and one of the oldest Izaak Walton League chapters in the nation! The Izaak Walton League of America has long championed clean air and water, healthy fish and wildlife habitat, and preserving special places for future generations to enjoy.
