Golf and Central Roads are closed between Des Plaines River Road and East River Road. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
The Des Plaines Youth Commission will host its annual Fun Fair on Saturday, March 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Prairie Lakes Community Center. This free, family-friendly event features live entertainment, including JG’s Reptile Road Show and magician Keith Cobb, as well as face painting, make-your-own buttons, and a scavenger hunt.
