The Office of the City Clerk is the Municipal Public Information and Resource Center with Clerk Bronakowski serving as the official record keeper for City Council and other City public bodies. The Office of the City Clerk is committed to serving the City and our residents with prompt, high quality service, and making information transparent and easily accessible to the public through this website and interactions with the office. 

The Clerk's Office responsibilities: 

  • Freedom of Information Act Requests (FOIA)
  • Maintain a record of City Council proceedings
  • Prepare and distribute meeting notices and minutes
  • Serve as the Local Election Official and work closely with the Cook County Election Division
  • Assemble and distribute resident Welcome Packets 
  • Retain and administer the corporate seal

The City Clerk is elected city-wide and serves a four-year term.
