The City of Des Plaines seeks qualifications from firms for Phase II Design Engineering and Phase III Construction Engineering services for the City’s Devon Avenue Sidepath Project.

Qualifications must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025. Qualifications are to be submitted in electronic format (.pdf preferred) to the following email address with the following subject line:

Des Plaines - RFQ – Devon Avenue Sidepath Project – Phase II and Phase III Engineering

The City email system will accept up to 20MB per email. If file size is an issue, please contact the City to arrange for alternate means of transferring the file.  A confirmation will be sent, verifying that the emailed proposal was received. However, the response is not automatic and so it will not be immediate. No hard copies need to be submitted. 

The Consultant selection process will involve an evaluation to rank the top three firms based upon the submitted qualifications, by a selection committee organized by the City. Interviews may be part of this evaluation process.
